Well, I go here more often than a year ago. 3 times this week. Good little shop. Usually have what you want. Professional courtesy by staff. Are rather good at price matching. Returns for faulty or incorrect products have been processed quickly. With suitable alternatives usually available.The drive thru wood section have provided me with lots of wood over the years. Cutting service is handy.Paint mixers are very good at colour matching. Photo’s of latest hardware project.Small art section is just perfect.Garden section has lovely plants. Set out nicely.

Rosalyn: Going above and BeyondExtremly happy with the support from Rosalyn from the paints department. I thought I needed paint for a vanity but she advised that it was not the right thing to do and after looking at some pictures on my phone, she explored different options and then guided me to the car wax section where she advised that a cut and polish would be able to do a better job.Came back home and tried what she advised. I have to say the result is fantastic and I am glad that she was able to guide me to the right solution.Rosalyn, Thanks for going above and beyond.Happy Customer

I would have given 5 star but I gave a 4 star because of one incident that I am not happy about.I came in there to buy a product today which I did.Firstly on the positive, I received good old fashion service by Peter, who was personable, friendly and knowledgeable. You felt important is the feeling I got.! You can tell he was happy to help a customer and happy in his job. Very rare to find. These are the kind of staff you keep and as a customer I would definitely come back because of him.I was also served by a younger fella ( A Covid Marshall ) after as I needed to decide which product to get. I was asked where my mask was. I had informed him it was illegal to ask me for my private records. There is more to the story…My advise to your company is, please educate your staff that it is illegal to ask someone to wear a mask and show their medical records. I suggest to retain your customers, mind your own business. Everyone has a choice. If it wasn’t for Peter I would have walked out and you would not have got my money.Also, educate your staff and you the owners that wearing a mask is actually unhealthy. Here is an explanation from a medical expert.Using surgical masks is very grotty and counter productive because you are breathing out co2 as well as virus and bacterial particals that gets trapped in the mask and using it all day with condensation of vapor. That then attracts more bacteria and other pathogens that you inhale.Also the fact that people are breathing in their own co2 for hours wearing the masks is actually making them more susceptible to getting sick from other illnesses because your body needs oxygen, pure oxygen!Do the right thing by your customers, that have made you money and built a wealthy company. The Gov don’t make you money, your customers do and your staff who are your front line. I hope I don’t get asked again.

Called into this store this morning 3.12.21. Greeted with a smile and asking can they help me.Not like some of the large Hardware stores, who told people “LOOK OVER THERE ” Its over there some where.So helpful. l visited the store at Glynde with a problem. The Gentleman not only fixed it but showed me how to fix it myself. That is what I call good customer care.Good service from helpful staff. 👍Sent a contractor to pick up some trellis. He told me he was amazed with the service.
