Description
Revive Solar water softener salt is a naturally evaporated washed solar salt with a very coarse grainsize typically averaging around 8mm. The product is washed and screened to remove impurities. The final product has a clear to opaque white crystal with no odour or discolouration.
Water softener salt is used to improve water quality by removing the ions from water softening units that make water hard. The coarse grain salt is used to form a brine that is flushed through the unit with the sodium ions in the solution displacing the calcium and magnesium that has built up. The large grain size allows excellent flow through the salt bed.
